Choral Music Clinician & Music Education Consultant

I offer choral music workshops for children, youth, and adults. Workshops are tailored depending on the age of the group and the pedagogical needs of each ensemble. Topics can include vocal technique, conducting, music theory, sight singing, musicianship, score study, music performance anxiety management, and mindfulness.

My approach to choral music attempts to challenge the Euro-centric model that dominates our industry while cultivating a nourishing community based on inclusion, acceptance, and compassion, for others as well as for the self. I am always asking myself, how we can achieve excellence in our ensembles while preserving the inner self of our students? This mandate of action and reflection is a continuous effort in my practice.
